how does someone differentiate a ball lightning from an orb or are they one and the same?

Try and touch a ball lightning... if you manage to, probably you'll be shocked by how much it differs from an orb!!!

Seriously, i think the difference between them is that ball lightnigns are, as the name suggests, lightnings that under some circumstances become of spherical shape.
Orbs, as far as i've read, should be spiritual entities... but it's all speculation at the moment, no one knows what they really are, yet...

orbs are just reflections of light off dust or a bug, and it shows up as a ball of light on a camera. though seeing them without a camera might be different. ball lightning is a naturally occuring phenomenon where a concentrated ball of electricity floats around. i'm not sure exactly what causes ball lightning, and to me, orbs suggest nothing paranormal.
