1000 replies wont work out to many points. You only get one or two points for a reply.
Tagging would be a better way to get points.

OK, here's the deal. I just got fined 20 points for a 1 liner; so I'll help you keep this thread running till you reach your goal. However you have to reciprocate for me in the future. Agreed?

Here is my meaningless drivel.

My GF and I just got back from a very nice resturant. She had the prime rib with the house salad and a glass of mirlou. I had the catfish in a chocolate sause with a side of slaw and a glass of fat tire ale. Right now I'm havin a cold bottle of shiner bock, a great beer brewed down in Texas. To be continued... next a shaggy dog story!!!

Reminds me of the time me and my first wife were down in sonora Mex.
She had just polished off a litre of mescal and I had about half gal of pulque. Pulque is vile and is very hard to hold down even by the locals. We decided to stumble out into the desert, and while we were out there we saw some dogs doin that, the only difference is that there wasn't any snow.
