Who all thinks a "911" (Or worse) type incident is going to happen soon and why?

I personally think we are about to be on top of another "911" type incident and possibly the apocolypse. It's not just the sick feeling I get in my gut when I think about it but with all the corruption coming to the surface.. (Plame leak, Abramoff scandal, Patriot Act basically on life support.. etc.. etc.. etc.. ) The 'agenda' that Bush has been pushing has really had the wind knocked out of it and I wonder if another "pearl harbor" is about to be orchestrated to get the new world order momentum back up and running again. I personally think 911 was carefully orchestrated to do just that. (I believe our government on some level was involved AND complicit.)

Almost forgot.. Don't anyone forget the intent of this administration towards Iran. (The potential invasion therof anyone?) Looks like we need another 911 to get that rolling too eh?

With things going down the toilet for the administraton, the desperation is setting in. If the Democrats take over the House or the Senate in '06, the Dems will have the power they need to start investigating the myriad crimes of this administration. If that happens, rest assured, those whose backs are to the wall are not going to meekly give up their power. Here's what I see happening, should things get as bad as they could:

Bush is definitely the weakest link, and I'm sure most of us will agree Cheney and Rumsfeld are the true power pillars of this presidency. It would not surprise me if some "lone nut" or Al CIAduh popped Bush. The USA would, of course, be in complete shock and mourning as Cheney took over. All their turmoil would suddenly cease, taking a backseat to pursuing those evil doers who did the deed. Oh yeah, and remember, Tecumseh's curse is still in effect.

Let me make it clear: Although I have disagreed with just about everything this administration has done since the invasion of Iraq, I do NOT wish for that outcome in any way, shape or form. It's just something I see as being (sickenly) possible. The Cheney/Rumsfeld gang are without souls and would do anything to achieve their ends.

Just my two cents.

I think yes and it will probably be something pretty big like a nuke going off in a city possibly washington while the prez is away, or worse when when Rumsfeld and Cheney are away.

Bush came to town one day to meet with the corporate biggies. I'll never forget what that morning was like. B/c of my job, I knew where he was and decided to go out and watch the motorcade pass. I did have to guess the specific route (there were two in play, that we knew of).

It was surreal. It was a stone cold, sunny morning and the city center was all but deserted, minus some stray people in the distance beneath the banks, a few fellow employees, secret service and a tv news crew. I found them, reporter & his camera man setting up back off the sidewalk down by the convention center. I chatted them up, gambling that would be the route. Cozza (tv guy) looked at me with a strange gravity and said, "You better get back here, off that sidewalk." Apparently, standing on the sidewalk watching BushCo. pass was not permissable. I turned and looked at the camera guy, who was working on his set-up, not paying attention. Sure 'nuff, they were both off the sidewalk. Crazy as it sounds, I figured it would be wise to stand with them.

How bloody strange, I thought. After all the years I've grown up seeing footage of our presidents among the people and me being near them, myself. Not this president.

The helicopters were out in force, buzzing across the sky above. Not an airplane did I see that morning, with an international airport nearly next door. We heard something. Before we knew it the armada, er.. I mean motorcade was bursting by. Forget that slowing down, waving crap. As I once did in the Army, I took a hard, long glance at that bohemeth rolling by, and just looked at Cozza. He had the same look on his face. Then he turned and said to camera guy, "Did ya get that?"

It happened in two seconds and they were gone. I have never seen anything like the BushCo. motorcade in my life.

Here's the craziest part: I think they are the most afraid people in the entire world. I'm talking straight up chickenyougettheidea. I have never seen anyone so afraid of being hit. I couldn't stand Clinton, trust me; but I will give him this: people on a massive scale, around the world loved that man. On the same scale with Reagan. I remember footage of Clinton in one of those foreign cities that had to be shut down for Bush, just immersed in the crowds, shaking hands, smiling. ( ) Sorry, knee-jerk reaction.

Anyway, according to Bushian paranoia, upon my observation, I would say Bush, is in fact, in more danger than any other person alive. Hmmm.... I wonder why?:shk:

Well I believe that something is coming down this year and taking in consideration like ECK just posted the Republican party may very well lose the congress.

I also agree that they will have to come out with something big enough to influence the people into trusting them again.

The trust has been lost but people still have faith in their ideologies it will not take that much to bring them lure them back into the Republican hold.

A shocking incident, like I described, would achieve that.

If you believe that the Republicans stold the last presidential elections, then you have to believe that Bush enjoys maybe a strong 30% per cent nationwide. That's a solid number to embrace. (Remember, Clinton was only elected with 37% of eligible voters. Sad, huh?) Anyway, things are so bad right now, and chaotic within the Republican party, I doubt they would be able to hijack another election right now.

So what I'm saying is, I believe the Democrats have a strong chance of winning at least one chamber back in the next election. If that happens, stay away from medium to large cities. Or presidential visits.

My two cents;

Some people support the war and go to support-the-troops rallies.

Some people hate the war and go to anti-war rallies.

Forget that. This isnt the 60's anymore. The power that used to be found in protesting no longer exists.

If you have time to go to rallies, spend that time figuring out a plan on how to hi-tail it out of dodge.

Iran has had over 25 years to plant sleeper cells in the country they love to hate. That is a lOoOoOoOong time!

If the US, Isreal, or both hit Iran, dont think Iran isnt going to activate the only useful weapon they have against us; terrorism. And dont think they havent spent the last half decade planning it.

Maybe you will spend a million bucks on a survival plan, maybe you will spend a tank of gas. Whatever it is, you better have that plan ready BEFORE the big event.

If we learned anything from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we learned this; If you wait for the government to tell you what to do, your already dead.

If your escape plan isnt on a major highway, waiting until the government says "RUN FOR THE HILLS!" will abort that plan because they will coral everyone onto the highways and there aint gonna be any contra-flow on `em.

The main problem is-how do you create a plan without everyone that knows you thinking you fell off the deep end?

Just to add to this. 2 nights ago I had a conscious dream. It was extremely clear and vivid. I'd consider it lucid because I knew it was a dream, but I couldn't control anything besides my movements. It was completely conscious though, and could do whatever I want. It was more like a vision though. At first I thought I was reliving 9/11, but there was no twin towers. I saw a black building crumble to the ground in the same symmetrical manner. I saw HUGE white lightning bolts striking at different locations. Earthquakes, explosions, fire, choas. Something was very ominous about this, and I haven't felt the same since. I hope it really was just a dream, as I've only had a couple dreams that actually came true in the past, but it was so vivid and detailed. I don't know what to make of it.

I've been trying to work a plan out , now, for quite some time. I see bad X coming, and everyone should be prepared. Everyone should prepare for a setback like a week without power...

Beyond that, tho, I think people should prepare for a long time.

i agree that something is coming, but perhaps an angle noone has considered is the stock market, today the dow almost broke 11,000 and alot of stocks are in a rally climbing ever higher. If anyone recalls the stocks for the airlines used in 9/11 were heavily shorted therefore "someone" profited heavily from the drop of those stocks. I've been thinking that "they" are letting stocks get ever higher in order to short sell them before the "day" so their profits are higher. What do you guys think about this theory?

I think that profiting from a major problem is pointless especialy if your profiting then the it's the end of the world guess what now money is worthless

I believe that a natural disaster in the form of a catastrophic earthquake will be the next major event that will inflict harm upon our nation -- moreso than an act of terrorism. I'm subscribed to earthquake alerts and have seen an increase in activity in Alaska & California in the past year as well as other areas of the world seem to have increased earthquake activity. I live in a city in Louisiana that was bombarded by Hurricane Rita. However, I believe the destruction by an imminent natural catastrophe in the form of an earthquake (and/or volcanic eruption) will make Hurricanes Katrina & Rita pale in comparison. I believe beefing up our border patrols & immigration laws need to remain a major focus in protecting our nation, as well as improving emergency preparedness in our major cities for natural disasters as well as terrorist attacks.

I hear Mount St. Helens (in Washington) is making noise again. The majority of my family is out there in its shadow. I was there when she blew in '80. It was surreal.

THAT is a great question...I am of the belief we need an underground network so that we can communicate and help one another.

You see, the Reps lose the house and senate, but then rig another attack, and blame the Dems in the senate and house for it, their candidate, most likely Jeb, wins like they won 2004, Gay Marrige is then terrorists, Dems fault because they wouldn't sell their soul to Satan, blah blah blah...

Nothing yet. I think someone has caught up them very fast on their level and they have slowed as they didn't realize the severity of what they believe. I would promise as with the natural disasters nothing will happen soon it will take a while for them to build up the gull.

I think another one's coming just because of how slow military advances are going about now. If we want to invade any new countries, there's going to have to be something really big to get citizens behind it. Even bigger than 9/11, I would imagine.

Something seems to be in the air (so to speak). Ihave absolutely no idea what the "something" is, but I've been very,very uneasy in the past 2 weeks and slightly off balance. It's much the same way I felt prior to 9/11. I truly hope my premonitions are just paranoia on my part.

I did have a dream..of which I can only remember fragments. In the dream I was watching CNN or MSNBC and you could see unedited film in the background of people running down the street in what appeared to be midtown Manhattan. The newscaster said "It seems like something has occurred in NYC. We are trying to ascertain if it has". In the dream, I was thinking: "well, gee, you bozo, just look at the pictures...something is definately happening." Then, the announcer came back on and said "We can confirm that something has happened in NYC but we are not yet at liberty to say what the something is". Then, I woke up. It was a very lucid dream and I woke in a great state of fear and panic. In fact, I immediately turned on the t.v. to make sure that something hadn't happened.

The only other things that I remember were that the time seemed to be late morning or afternoon and that it was sunny and warm.

Of course, I have premonitions that don't come true all the time (thank God).

But, I do agree that "something" feels as if it's in the works somewhere. I have no clue what it is.
