Season 5 of The Shield, you ready?

The Shield in my opinon is the greatest show on TV. I have followed it from the beggining, and its incredible. Season 5 starts next Tuesday, anyone else watching? Forrest Whitaker will surely make up for loosing Glenn Close who I thought was awesome, its a shame she wouldnt stay on. My big prediction is the return of Tevon to get revenge on Shane.

I love that show, Vic has to be one of the best tv personalities on the box.

I can't wait for it to reach us in the UK.

How long after it appears here in the states do you see it in the UK?

Its normaly about 3-6 months. the last series finished about 2-3 months ago.

I thought it had fnished cause I haven't heard of or seen any advertising for it anymore here in Australia.
I was diggin it too when it first started here, must be on real late or something if it's still on (we get shows in that same kinda time frame picklewalsh noted for UK)

That show paints a more realistic picture of the kind of corruption that does take place inside police precincts here in the states, although I dont believe it to be as rampant where I live, with the level of violence and all. Charlotte is nothing like LA though. Are there gangs in the UK and Austrailia much like the ones portrayed in the shield?
