Enquiring Minds Would Like To Know?

Does anybody know where I can find an answer to this question?

question: How many words a day does the human mind remember and take in?

I really have no idea where this question came from. I was sitting here looking at ATS, BTS, and PTS, and was curious as to how many words have actually been written since this forum started. Enquiring minds would like to know.

You know, that is a rather interesting question, but alas, I doubt we will ever know.

If I were to make a geuss, I'd say 100billion at the least and 1trillion at the most.

I would say less than 100 words we permanently remember per day. Long term memory. Most of it simply isnt worth remembering.

I don't know how many words most people take in generaly and remember, I think it's more like concepts and key information, since I read somewhere around 10,000 words (guesstimating there) a day, and I of course don't remember every single word, what I however do remember is what I read was about, and a few key words and sentences.
