What is the one UFO show they had on last week about Brazil, and the Brazilian government. It had AJ Geavard, and a few other people. It was about the UFOs that left burn marks on people? And there were over 500 photos kept secret for years?

Any idea what the program was called? I just caught the end of it

I don't recall them saying the name for the project, just that a group of military personal were sent to this island to study what was going on. It seems as though they did get some pictures and radar trackings, but none were made public? I think the Brazil government is more open than the U.S. to UFOs, but not open enough to tell the full truth either. I don't think any one country wants to be the cause for world panic and chaos. Just my gut feeling. It will take many nations coming together and speaking with one voice on the subject.

That was called "Brazil's Roswell", and was about Operation Prato, which occurred in 1977 on the island Colares. Lost_Shaman has an excellent thread on it.

I only caught the end of it but it seems like they revealed about 100/500 pictures to the public. I am sure they were the worst of the bunch, and even at that some of them were very convincing. Really makes you wonder what the other 400 look like

Man that would be ironic if the aliens came to observe buildling of our first aircraft and crashed in the process.

Look at the primative human airc.... ahh we're going down.

FYI: Operation Prato translates to Operation SAUCER. There was also many hours of film and hundreds of photos which investigators were not allowed to see. Which is intresting considering the photos that were released show something of interest fairly clearly.

I'm watching this show right now. But am I the only one having problems? The audio keeps cutting in and out. Weird. Maybe it's just my satellite dish. Anyone else notice this?

I know I'm watching it, and I'm still figuring that out, even after like 10 years reading this site. But yeah, it's good. Proof, that UFOs have been coming around earth forever.

But is the audio and video cutting in and out for you or anyone else or is it just my satellite dish acting up?

I had no problems watching it. So it's probably something local.

As to the program, there was nothing new for me, but then again I know alot about past UFO incidents. It was still very interesting and anything with Jim Marrs, is worth watching.

I had a couple incidence of audio cutting out early in the show but nothing the second half. I have satellite too so coulda been that. this episode was better than last weeks. they stayed on topic.

watched it on cable, no problems with audio or video. fifty minutes of programing for five minutes of information, kind of a let down, actually.

What a rip. All the talk of radiation and not one geiger counter. Can't get
at the well? Hey pal, you're standing 10 feet from it, drive a well point THERE.
Ever heard of SLANT drilling? What a crock.
These guys are ufologists? They don't know that the LAST thing you want to do is to get any authorities involved? They didn't MAP where the grave was when they found it in the 70's? Two guys with picks and shovels can dig a hole 6'x3' and 5' deep in a couple of hours, in relative silence. If you only have 10 minutes you pound in a 6' length of 1/2" gas pipe and get core samples. And they were thwarted at the well by a slab of concrete. Give me a break. This is Texas we're talking about here. There is no freezing winter. Concrete slabs there aren't reinforced with re-bar. One guy with a sledge hammer could pulverize it in an hour. And this is FARM country. Any and all tools needed are at hand, not to mention farm hands ready to make a quick $20.

Yes, I've noticed it. Maybe they keep repeating the same shows just in case someone missed it, like they want EVERYONE to be prepared for the real thing when it happens.
I watched 3 or 4 today on National Geographic.

I had the same thought.....if the radiation is killing the grass why didnt they have a geiger counter out there checking the area. No wonder I never heard of these guys(except for Marrs). Shoot if I knew I was headed to an area of possible contamination I woulda at least got me one of them lapel Roetgen readers.

I do have to say that was not one of the better episodes of UFO Files.

I always repected Jim Marrs a great deal and in fact heard of this case in his book.

It's hard to believe that these people were serious UFOlogists... Anyone could have read a chapter on the crash in a book and provided as much information in an interview as those on the show.

I suppose being as old of a case as it is its hard to fill an hour... Probabl y should have used 5 mins and grouped it with other older UFO stories from history.

Any thoughts on the 'intresting piece of metal' mentioned early in the episode?

I notice that the HC has discussion boards about several dozen of their shows, but not UFO Files as of yet. But I did find this page which I find interesting and useful.
