Story

The House voted 412-8 after less than hour of debate. Lawmakers from both parties uniformly blasted a decision by U.S. District Judge Lee R. West, who ruled Tuesday that the Federal Trade Commission lacked authority to create and operate the registry. The Senate was expected to pass similar legislation Thursday.

HA HA HA. Mr Judge West can stick that in his pipe and smoke it. I guess the FTC kissed enough BUTT to get the "power needed" to allow the DNC list.

Now, we just have to wait and see about the other telemarketer lawsuits. I think this is good though that the govt actually agrees with the taxpayers for once.

Yeah, but now we have the Judge from Denver who has brought this to a screeching halt.

What is with these judges??? The Denver judge is basing his ruling on the "telemarketers' right to speech"...WTF?

Where's my right to eat an entire meal without saying "I'm not interested."???

And to think West is from my state?
That's down right embarrassing.
