If you haven't heard about this slip of the touge that Wolf Blitzer made on CNN right after the hurricane hit New Orleans consider yourself informed. This is in the joke forum because obviously he really didn't mean it this way.

He was right about his report raising questions, but I don't think they're the questions he was thinking.

The more I think about this, the more I think it belongs in Education & Media, if for no other reason to showcase hypocrisy. Obviously this happened a long time ago, and this is the first time I've ever heard of it. Believe me if someone from FOX like Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity had said this, it would have been on the front page of the NY Times for like a week and the lefties would be howling about it from now to kingdom come.

I don't know if I would call it a conspiracy. He was just blabbing nonsense and his mouth was about 2 sec. ahead of his mind. Maybe that's exactly what he was thinking and it just came out since he was just making unscripted comments on live video coverage.

You're right though. There would be more crying about this if a more conservative anchor had said this. Liberals can make racially insensitive jokes and no one complains. Blitzer still doesn't top Shepard Smith's slip of the tounge, but it comes close.
