Who really thinks there is something at Dulce?

Just for the record Dulce New Mexico is very real and yes there is stuff there like drunk indians and tourists a few odd hunters and acres of high desert but no secret base....

The only Greys and Repyilians you find around there are Rocks and Snakes and Lizards....

I saw an old documentary on UFOs and the subject was cattle mutilations. The sheriff was interviewed about cattle mutilations that were happening on ranches near Dulce. I think this is where the lore started, and with Area 51 finally being acknowledged to the public, there was a need to make another base into a super secret alien installation.
Add to that a story with no documentation or evidence, and a mythology builds up around the area. It did not help that two Air Force OSI agents were feeding a bunch of baloney to a late UFO researcher, making him believe there were tests of all kinds being done on humans.
The internet keeps alive proven hoaxes and old stories, and spins them to sound new.
