Perhaps, yes.
I see it this way though, waynos: The UK and the US share a very special bond, friendship, and alliance, one that virtually no two other nations currently share. Hence, it is my opinion that what the UK may lack, the US makes up for, and what the US lacks, the UK makes up for. Two heads are better than one, and when you combine the great aircraft minds of the UK and the US, you have a given solution to virtually any problem, IMHO. Hence, the UK should be given full access to the JSF program.

Blood is thicker than water, if you catch my meaning.
