That has to be Nirnaeth... a polish Epic, Darkwave project with black metal vocals. The name was taken from Nirnaeth Arnoediad (The Battle of Unnumbered Tears), in The Silmarillion... but it's still a great band name.

Another good name is, Isvind (Icewind...(sounds much better in Norwegian)). A norwegian black metal project... grim as the woods at night.


As for worst band name ever.... Alabama Thunderpussy. haha.

Quiet Riot...it rhymes, and it is an oxymoron. Those guys are smart.
