Help for Local Comptuer Graphics Competition

Well it's for people around my age (i'm 14) and I plan to be entering it through my school or something liek that. so Far I have a grunge backround and an in progress set a flames, which I have no clue what to do with. So I'm calling out to all your photoshop gurus.. (psst jak, kinglizard, maybe zed?)lol to just give me soem tips. Maybe some pointers or just throwign around ideas.

I'm looking for anyones input you don't even have used photoshop ever just any suggestions bout anything.

PS it's so far mostly red and black for coloring...

Is there a theme for this competition?

Well the thing is... I have no clue my tech ed teacher just told me it's a general computer graphics competition and I have no clue when it is so all I know is I haveall the itme I need. I kinda finished the red/black grunge thing. Now thinking bout what to move onto next.
