No, the order has nothing to do with granting oil rights. No-one said it did.

It holds all oil companies immune from any criminal or civil proceedings under any existing statute AND it blurs the boundaries between Iraq Deevlopment Fund and the US government's appointees sufficiently that there is ABSOLUTELY NO ACCOUNTABILITY for the illegal oil proceeds of the Iraq invasion.

Now that we have that out of the way... Your post lead one to beleive that you were intimating it granted specific rights to the oil companies. Which, by the way, I AGREE WITH! If they put their money up and their time into finding it they get the payoff.

You are correct, I have YET to confirm it exists, which means it doesn't, and thereby proves it is pure propaganda by your side...

Seriously, that thing has moved around the Federal Register so many times it is like a sneaky rat running a well rehearsed maze. Funny about that.

I will post it up under the War Profiteering thread, which I had resurrected because an otherwise generally sane man (Leveller) started talking to me earlier about how the oil profits were intended for the Iraqi people. What a gag that would be!
