Mr Miyagi Dies Aged 73

Actor Pat Morita, who was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Ralph Macchio's mentor Mr Miyagi in The Karate Kid, has died.
The 73-year-old died at his home in Las Vegas on Thursday of natural causes, his wife Evelyn said.

Born in California to immigrant fruit pickers, he was among the thousands of Japanese-Americans sent to internment camps during World War II.

Morita, who began his career as a comic, rose to fame in TV's Happy Days.

What a shame...Used to love the Karate Kid films when i was younger!

oh thats sad indeed, i grew up with the films of karate kid also,

RIP Mr Miyagi

Though his memory will live on in the films he made,

His memory will forever live on if only one person out there utters the phrase:

"Wax on, Wax off - Wax on, Wax Off"

What a shame, A very wise man!

I always thought he was well older than he was.

A TRUE Legend always be remembered.

Mr Miyagi was the man!

So much so he had me trying to catch flies with chopsticks.
