Pakistan has arrested senior Libyan al-Qaeda suspect Abu Faraj al-Libbi, the government says.
Libbi is said to have been third in al-Qaeda and is wanted over attempts on the life of Pakistan's president.

US President George W Bush described the reported capture as "a critical victory in the war on terror".

Full story at BBC

Pakistan done great for the war against terrorism.

Is this arrest going to diminish Al Quaida's terrorist potential?

The question is still valid:
Is this arrest going to diminish Al Quaeda's terrorist potential?

Six and a half month after the arrest...... Any answer?

Considering that they've broken up a number of plots since then, yes, it affected their ability to act. Didn't destroy it, but it affected it.

I wonder which torture, sorry' i mean interrogation camp he's sitting in...

Its pretty obvious if you capture someone this big, he's going to be ' MADE ' to talk...

depending on how you look at it, if he was tortured and spoke, would the US government now (mistakingly of course) be unaware of the acts being plotted?

I belive 911 was known and allowed happen, and I do belive your government will use this same technique to gain more 'terrorist havens' in there cross hairs.

Especially if the president was one of the targets?
