Skeletons in the closet??

My friend is a fire alarm tech here in Ottawa Canada. This friend of mine has always thought I was full of crap when it came to conspiracy theory, slowly over time he is becoming a believer.

Case and Point: I have always told him how the Masons were into some pretty freaky and weird stuff. Do I think Masons are evil, or out to take over the world, of that I can honestly say I have no opinion. Do they engage in some bizzare ritual practices, that could be easily construed as satanic or otherwise? Yeah I think so.

So my friend was telling me a story the other day of how one of his co-workers had to go to a Lodge to repair their fire alarm system. To get at the wiring he had to enter some rather tight crawlspaces. While he was looking around he took a look in a closet in the basement of the lodge and found: THREE SKELETONS (masters of the lodge most likely) and VIALS OF THEIR BLOOD stowed with them.

The guy was freaked out (he has no idea about any of this stuff) and told my friend this story after work. He was pretty disturbed and confused by the whole debackle.

Any one have any insights. Masons or otherwise, why there would be skeleton and vials of blood in a closet at a Masonic Lodge??

Actually we had to move our Black Mass to Wednesday nights because the Order of the Eastern Star was sacrificing virgins (or was it Virginians?) on Tuesday nights. Admittedly it took a special dispensation from the Grand Lodge but we pulled it off.

Oh well....I'm off to give some blood to the local Red Cross...don't want to give the Lodge too much for their vials when they put this old Past Master's bones in the basement closet. (Which reminds me...we need to install a basement too) It just never ends.

Seriously, it's probably all those (former) members who broke their obligations and had to be 'dealt with'. We always challenge anti-masons to come up with evidence that the penalties have been carried out, in the knowledge that the evidence is safely tucked away in the basement.

One has to wonder why this coworker of a friend of yours didn't call the POLICE if he thought there was something sinister happening there. One also has to wonder why "...This friend of yours" didn't tell "one of his co-workers" to do so, or do so himself if he believed the story.

If there was no real suspicion of wrongdoing, one must also wonder why this friend of yours didn't tell one of his coworkers to ask the people who hired him. "Man, I gotta tell you... I opened this door because I was going to (insert whatever his excuse was here) and like to jumped out of my skin when I saw those skeletons. WTF is UP with THAT?.."

My guess is that this -- IF true -- has noting to do with any lodge of Symbolic masonry, and that there's a perfectly plausible explanation. IF they existed, they are most likely properly called PROPS. I've seen similar things in a Christian church, in theaters, movie and TV studios, schools, stores and shopping malls.

See, the whole things stinks of lies and misconstructions of fact, which is why my BIGGER guess is that the whole story is BS.

Wow, thanks DD. Gee, I never thought of that... of course it's all a big lie. Oh wait, this guy has no reason to lie. I talked with my friend to see if he might be getting drawn into some joke plot and he tells me this guy is an honest dude and would have nothing to gain from a lie. To make it easier for you to follow, I'll condense my musings into more direct language and try to avoid abstract concepts:

(1) If any person -- friend, anonymous "other", or yourself -- thinks there is something sinister happening ANYWHERE, (s)he should call the police. This is the simple duty of a good citizen.

(2) If there is no real suspicion of wrongdoing, but one simply cannot mind ones own business, then a reasonable and decent person would ask a member of the lodge to explain.

Tell you guys what I am going to do.

I will try and dig more info out of my friend. Maybe these skeletons are props, but from what this guy said they were pretty lifelike, movie quality replicas at the least. I will see my friend most likely tommorow (Saturday) and will dig.

I just don't like to post something and be made out to seem like I am an idiot. If anything, I am overly trusting of people and try to take them at face value. With regards to my friends, and this friend who mentioned this to me in particula,r what he told me I know is not a lie, however I do NOT know his friend so there is a possibilty he could be BSing.
