why two threads? I see you posted the same one above with a different heading. My take is that when parts of the Earth warm up, others change, too, and become colder. That could be the reason. We in so Cal had ocean water that was 10 degrees F below normal all summer. In fact, the water is warmer now than it was in August, but the East had the opposite. All energy remains constant, to its a give and take...
