I loved that...I remember that at the time, I had just started reading Uncanny (I was a pure Avengers and Hulk junkie for about 8 years prior), and this was about the second issue that featured them that I bought.

I fell in love with Logan's character...way better than any of his appearances in other titles that I'd read. I mean, when I read that he couldn't get drunk "the conventional way" (or something to that effect in the beginning of the book) I was hooked...and read the title for 10 straight years after.

Batman would get his backside handed to him by Superman. Batmans only chance would be kryptonite and chances of him sleeping with a green medalion? Slim to none.

Ultimate fight?

The Juggernaut vs Hulk. Of course Hulk would eventually win by knocking his helmet off, but oh what a slugfest!!

To my knowledge the two have never met...

Recently bought this issue. Spoiler alert.
I just bought the first issue, can't wait for the rest of it.











Wolverine after he is torn apart says "That @#$%^&, he threw my legs four miles away"

He could smell them....four miles away.

The story then flashbacks prior to the encounter and explains why Wolverine is hunting the Hulk.....(Dead Cows)

Wolvie is also impressed that his supposedly unbreakable skeleton is broken by the big fella.

Then proceeds to crawl the four miles towards his legs.

Grimholt, I also just picked up that book.

I loved it. Damon Lindelof can really write Logan. I'd love for Marvel to get him on board with the up coming Wolverine movie. Since he is a screen writer/co-creator for Lost I would imagine he could put together an awesome screen play for a Wolverine movie.
Leinil Francis Yu is awesome as always. The dude was born to draw Wolverine. I think he got his start in comics by entering a Wizard magazine contest.

I am defiantly picking up the rest of this series .

Wolverine / Deadpool: Weapon X. The TP reprints Wolverine #162-166 and Deadpool: agent of Weapon X #1 -4. I don't know for sure if they fight each other in the book but it is likely.

I think I'm going to hit the comic store and pick up the Wolverine: Enemy of the state TP. There are a few ultimate battles in there. Wolverine vs Electra, Wolverine Versus the FF, ect...

sounds good. im sure youve read but if you havnt and your heading to the comic book store you should check out Kingdom Come graphic novel by DC.
