This thread is a query to see if anyone has ever had photographic evidence of aliens, ufos etc confiscated. I wonder if anyone knows if photo labs are required to report such photos, like they are with illegal/suspicious activity? I realize that this is probably not a problem these days with the advent of digital technology, but perhaps someone has had a memory stick/card confiscated by a photo place. Do they do that? Just wondering if anyone has experience with this

No, they only concren for photofinishers it to confiscate and report to authorites, any child porn, beastiality or battered women..
The people in the lab sometimes keep copies of ufo's, but they are not on the confiscation list yet!
I once was the one who had to report a school principal who had submitted child porn. They wait until the customer comes to pick up the prints and then bust them.

Wal-Mart would not print some of my party photos.

But there were no aliens or ufo's in them.

Back in the 80's I had taken some pictures of men in black suits watching a demonstration outside the courthouse in Portland Oregon.
I crossed over the street from the park to the corner of the courthouse and the two men came up to me. One stood right beside me and put a firm grip on the back of my neck and held my left arm while the other one stood right in my face and said he needed my film.
He took the 110 film cartridge out of my camera, handed me my camera back and said "Keep your effin mouth shut". And they walked away.
It was very intimidating and these men were very serious.

I spent about 6 weeks at that protest and never saw those same men again.

I know what they were watching.
They were watching a religious group fighting for their rights to religious freedom. They were keeping tabs on people that wanted to maintain a separation between church and state.

The only thing on the film that they wanted was the images that I had taken of them...

This reply may still be on point with the topic of this thread.

I had a friend of mine (actually his father, son wasn't home) visited by authorities because he (his son) tried to get a higher level of disclosure for UFO files that "they" (the government guys) seemed to thing should be kept from the public.

The files he'd dropped off at a local news station were never given back. When he tried one last time to give them (copies he'd made) to another station his dad was once again visited and threatened again (once again the son dodged a bullet by not being home). This stopped his (the son's) attempts to alert the public further about the UFO material.

It seems that "they" don't care what you say, write or do, but they are "terminally" concerned about what you can prove.
