Elitekommando Ost?

I've heard some stories (realtively credible sources) about a WestGerman unit called EliteKommando Ost that was operating in DDR. Getting people out of there and even doing some sabotage operations?
It might have been formed around 1975-1985 and disbanded before 1990, it operated hidden inside other units (operators were officially trainers of regular army units)
The operators (around 10 men at maximum) were trained in USA and participated on some CIA ops in Mexico as part of their training.
They penetrated the Death Zone at least twice and crossed the Berlin wall several times (both through checkpoints and over the walls)

Any info on this?

The "Elitekommando Ost" comes from a book of thomas sanders. I must disappoint you, the author is a con man and the book is a lie. He has invented the EliteKommando Ost. I've read an article about it in the magazin "der spiegel".
