Clam Chowders....whats the best

I am from the east so I love sea food. However Clam Chowder is an all time fav. I am very picky as I have tried most crap in a can and nothing is just right. Two I recomend are Clam Chowder from Ram's Horn if you have one in your area. They are located here in Michigan.

Also at the super store Meijer's they have some in a plastic container in the froozen section. It is the best I ever had in a store also the most $$ but it is well worth it..I will post the brand tonight once I get some more.

Anyone try these? Also please add to the list if you know.

If you ever get to ride the ferry from Vancouver B.C. over to Vancouver Island, try the clam chowder. It's a favorite of mine....

At home I usually buy the Campbells Chunky. I like to add some vegetable to it while it's heated. Some sweet corn and fresh mushrooms add a lot to the soup and a handfull of shrimp is a nice addition.
