A loud explosion has shaken the Grand Hyatt hotel in the capital of Jordan. Smoke can be seen rising from the building in Amman. MSNBC is reporting numerours fatalities are expected and states Emgencyy Crews are on the scene at this time.

An explosion shook the Grand Hyatt hotel in Jordan's capital late Wednesday, and witnesses saw smoke rising from the building. A police official said some people had been killed, "and there are many wounded."

An American businessman who was at the hotel when the explosion occurred, said a "bomb that went off in the lobby." He declined to identify himself.

Police said the cause of the explosion was unknown.

Thanks Ace DJ and I bumped on this story and I applogized. When I first checked there were no stories that is why I posted mine.

They are now reporting Three hotels or the press in Jordan is saying so, they are the Hyatt, Raddisson and Days INN. Also officials in Joradan had received a t Terror threat earlier today regarding a suspected attack.
