Male infertility increases over past 40 years
One-half of 1% of men were functionally sterile in 1938. Today it has reached between 8-12% (an over 15-fold increase). "Functionally sterile" is defined as sperm counts below 20 million per milliliter of semen.

Car exhaust decreases fertility.
The common car exhaust compound benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) causes a significant reduction in fertility in test animals and fertility was further lowered when animals were exposed to both BaP and lead simultaneously. Results showed approximately a 33% reduction in ovarian weight and a "marked reduction in ovarian follicles."

Awesome thread! Might I recommend a book that talks about this idea. It is Visitors from Time by Marc Davenport.

This is the most absurd idea I have ever heard, not to offend anyone, but time travel is impossible.
He always has with him a LCD screen that he can convey messages to selecting letters via the headset - as he gets used to the software he can set up specialist instructions and shortcuts to carry out word and letter combinations. He could also use graphics software to draw images. He could select an option "Text", "Drawing", "Settings" and proceed to operate the software.
A worthwhile continuation is to let two people communicate with each other directly using the software as an interface - they would both be using the same software and therefore the same commands.
The extrapolation of this is obvious, both people are thinking in exactly the same way, using exactly the same commands and syntactic structures, which does not occur naturally in people. All people normally think using entirely different index and reference systems - i.e., one thing is one persons brain when transferred to another brain points to entirely different objects. The software develops within people's minds specific patterns of thought that are the same in every person who used the software.
Without the software the communication would still be difficult, because the people would not be trained enough to be able to understand the messages in the same way that the software can.

It may be a hoax, but I remember hearing a long time ago that Soviet scientists did human guinea pig experiments on how the Human brain worked and in the process stumbled across psychic powers by activating a sector of the brain via electronic stimulation.
