John Titor and France

Here's a new twist on burned out topic. I believe John Titor was a hoax but I'm going to play devil's advocate here.

Maybe John Titors predictions about a civil war in America never came true because our world line divergence is greater than he realized. Maybe in our world line France has a civil war. Maybe a few more riots like this one will eventually plunge that country into turmoil. What do you think?
