There was the cycle of the mineral, the rock. There was the cycle of the
plant. And now we are in the cycle of the animal coming to the end of that and
beginning the cycle of the human being. When we get into the cycle of the human
being, the highest and greatest powers that we have will be released to us.

Tropical storms forming at the end of December is not what I would call 'normal' weather. Any possibility this is the storm they are talking about?

sylvrshadow,

that was a great read, thx for posting it. It is also a little scary, almost similar to the garabandal prophecies (3 signs from heaven).

I don't know what the future holds, but famine and severe weather effects seem to be in most predictions.

mother earth is angry at us.

I read this today on Steve Quayle:

January 31, 2006
Vincent Xavier

Southern California, specifically the Los Angeles area and Las Vegas Nevada are about to undergo a severe devastation. The shock waves will travel East and West, North and South. A vacuum effect will draw in and with violent aggression a blast will go forth shaking to the foundations millions of homes and businesses. The blast will be so powerful that it will trigger natural disasters in the realm of earthquakes, tsunamis and much flooding. The event has been planned and will be executed at any moment. I am calling my people who live in these areas out! I am shouting to the inhabitants of Los Angeles and Las Vegas to prepare for what will be the most devastating event they have ever known. The American people will be brought very low. Those proud and arrogant people that would not choose the fear of the Lord, but became hardened in their hearts shall be broken as the Rock crushes them and grinds them to powder.
[...]

I thought this was worthy a link in this thread, since it seemingly fits into and complements the original Native American warning. Anyone else heard this?

What kind of blast is this guy talking about? Is he planning something? I found his article very concerning. Where on earth did you find it?

I found it on stevequayle.com, but occasionally End Time Prophetic Vision posts stuff by him (as well as many others).

I'm not sure what kind of blast he's talking about... but it made me think of Revelation 8:8 though when I first read it:

(KJV)
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

I'm not sure what to make of it, really... but this stands out as very peculiar to me for some reason.

I found it interesting how the original quote refers to both the Bible and The Native American Church, perhaps the apocalypse is congruent in many different religions.

I recently heard a webcast with Jason Martell. In this broadcast there was talk of a major cosmic event to take place within the next few days - I heard this 4 days ago mind you. They said that South American and Australian observatories where tracking a giganting unidentified object shrouded in dust and this was to make impact in South America directly on February 6. They said that this impact would affect the entire world but specifically San Francisco - that it would seem to fall off the map. They also said that south american and australian media were covering this apparent event continuously.

Yes...I just found it actually. It's the interview with Jason Martell called Jason Martell on XZone. Check it out. Have any of you heard of anything like this?

Jason Martell on XZone

Wicked

Both time and location are similar-enough to what's already been posted in this thread to raise more than an eyebrow... so I echo Wicked's question, anyone know more about this?

I have read Tom Browns books, I couldn't get enough of them. When I lived in the big city of Toronto they gave me quite a perspective on the shallowness of our modern existence.
Everyday I look at my world and shake my head; greed, power, ignorance reigns supreme, what am I doing here?

Could someone please explain to me why people type 'g-d' instead of 'god', what's the deal with that

If I were to believe any prophesy it would be Grandfather Stalking Wolf's. I have read some Tom Brown books about his life, and he is an amazing person. His spirituality far supassed the majority of human beings. He was truley enlightened. My little brother was fortunate enough to take some of his wilderness survival classes, and he came back a changed person. I'd love to do that some day, but I am reading Tom Brown's "Awakening Spirits" currently, and highly recommend reading his books to anyone who's interested in Native American spirituality, wilderness survival, and living off the land.

As far as that prophesy goes, the first 2 signs have come true. The famine in Africa and the holes in the ozone. If the red sky thing happens, I am definitely packing up and heading to the wilderness.

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain" (Exo. 20:7).

This stems from the fear that somehow God's name will be taken in vain or the page, or site that the words are posted on will be destroyed and they would be at fault for using his name in vain. Really silly if you ask me, since God is really just a generic term and not the actual name of God (YHVH) ; however, if they feel like they should write it this way....*shrugs*

^No offense to those that do that, but I think that is quite hypocritical. If you type out "OH MY G-D!!" You might as well type "Oh my god!" I mean it is your intention that counts. If you do not want to use god's name in vein, then type oh my goodness, or something like that.

look i know this thread is long past dead, but i'm reviving it...

ok so this "prophecy" was given back in Oct '05. the time frame for it has almost expired, and it's left me thinking that Sydney took one crazy dream outta proportion. though it's still too early to tell for the month of april, i do hope he's very wrong. anyway i just brought this back up to see if anyone still had any last thoughts on this before it fizzles away...

There are a few prophecies that talk about April of '06. We will just have to wait and see. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

Think about it,if there were a tidal wave that went clear to Nevada, would have to be a quake somewhere in the magnitude of a 12,plus earthquake in Alaska would cause a Tsunami,in No Calif,so a quake that hit LA would be originated in Hawaii,so I'm thinking if that happens the whole world will be devastated

On saturday they had a special on the National Geographic Channel about some type of earthquake that ran the coastlline,I forget exactly what it was called but it said if it did occur it the ensuing tidal wave would wipe out the west coast, and one was due to occur.
