No one has conclusively proved what the factors are driving global warming.

Certainly energy consumption and pollution of humans is a contributing factor but there seems to be other factors which may be bigger in effect.

Consider the magnetic poles moving and changes in the suns output and solar flares for example. Then there are changes in seismic activity around the world. These are changes that are big, probably bigger than man can affect presently.

For us to radically change our emissions we would have to radically change our lifestyles. Be certain that if you criticize that you are personally prepared to do this.

I wonder if bush even knows what global warming is.

Ask bush about global warming

Ask him about money

My experience with most people and particularily younger people is that it is all talk.

It is a 'feel good' topic but very few people understand the full ramifications of a drastic change in their lifestyles.

Furthermore, economic wealth has a lot to do with industry which is by far the largest consumer of energy, but is often overlooked.

Many so called 'green' methods of producing energy are insufficient for the job.

Lastly, if earth changes are driven by external forces eg. in our solar system then there may be little or nothing we can do. In fact our species maybe facing a degree of extinction anyways.
