As far as ET’s creating humans, planting us here on Earth, and then monitoring our development is concerned, all I can say is ET must lead a pretty dull existence. I mean, that would be like us making a cow, placing it on a planet somewhere and then wasting the next 100,000 years watching it develop intelligence. What a totally lame experiment that would be. Yeah but comming across a species that was showing slight signs of intelligence and then accelerating that increase would be a interesting experiment IMHO. For 500,000 years no human figured out to attach a hand axe to a wooden handle. It took early humans that long to figure something that simple out.

Compare that to the advancements made in the last 5,000 years the increase has been exponential unprecedented in earths history.

A advance race that could travel faster then light which they pretty much would have to do to come here, could very well travel through time as well. Whats a experiment that last even 10 million years to a race that can travel through time.
