what is the main purpose of living?

i place the tread here because this not wat people normally talk about and is more of a paranormal discussion compared to daily talks if u understand wat i mean below


ever wonder why everyone is here ? ok i have this short example of the 'life' most ppl are facing now , first u get an education then a job then u work for money to live , and wat do u live for ??? , some said to enjoy but
are we really enjoying with a stress and worries , to me we live to suffer
and enjoy , if it is its kinda pointless also , because in the end its like all just a illusion . so i thought of another reason tat is to share ones emotion with others , enjoy and suffer life , to help anothers to bring life to the fullest , but get to think of it wats the purpose of doing all this ? seriously do we just live to enjoy , suffer , expirence , share emotions , find love and fainlly to die ?

wat i want to know if any has a point of view about the TRUE purpose of living or why we are here ?

Three purposes for the return of souls to this world;
To collect into the soul the properties of all being , to acquire knowledge of all things , to acquire the power to overcome chaos.

Man is three things;
Who we think we are, who others think we are, and who we really are.

Those Irish triads, may or may not be the reply you were looking for. But in a world of choices, they have in my opinion presented a good selection.
Some things are not meant to be known, or is beyond our comprehension.
With time, the knowledge of this might be reveiled to us. In the end it is not all just an illusion, the end is only the beginning right. Like the seasons and motion of the stars, everything moves in cycles. History is a testament to that fact. Well there you have it, feel free to question what I presented if need be, no problemo.

so for the time being we just live life as it is? its as if the dimensions are changing, or clashing , sometimes i just wonder wats the point of me being here , wonder if anyone thought of this b4

acutally i did thought of something called the program , u see a few years ago i was thinking if life was 'programed' all along u know like sims the game excepted tat we are programed to be able to work or think by ourselves something like bots , we are programed so 'perfectly' tat everything seems to be made , like we have to eat and the food has taste or else we may not wanna eat or think of eating , also wonder why we need to eat , cant we absorb energy in another way , also we are made/evoled/programed into 2 forms , when added together we create a new form allowing the program/life to continue , also we dont just do it , its like we will want to do it , reproduction i mean , u know we have this desire for it or else nobody would want to think of reproducing because it may seem weird or something without the feelings . another thing is tat wonder why we need water or oxygen i mean its like we can dont have it if our DNA are different , the 'programmer' may think tat if the program were to go wrong the programmer can end the program immedialy , however the programmer is kinda smart though its as if we are created to 'not think of dying' and like u see in sims , daily rountine , study get a job live and tats it . also its like we are restricted to a certain level of thinking for now maybe , and it appears tat my way of thinking seems to be going against the systerm if u understand wat i mean . this is some of it i dont wanna talk too much about 'the program' .

sims - is a computer game if u guys are not sure wat i mean

the programer - for wat i know is not god , to me god is created by humans

If what you're looking for is "The Meaning of Life", people have been wondering that since we got the ability to reason.

It has been said by a great and wise machine... the meaning of life is... "42". lol.

Seriously though. Robert A. Monroe's idea was that we are all here sort of fuelling something else. Emotions are something rare and only available on Earth in the physical plane. Whether they are some sort of currency for the spiritual world, an energy source like gasoline for us, or what, we don't know. But there seems to be a need and great demand for emotional energy. Especially the highest form, love, which he dubbed "loosh". So it has something to do with harnessing emotional energy for some unknown purpose in his opinion.

And of course, spiritual growth and learning what you came here to know. Maybe you believe you have a soulmate out there somewhere too. Who knows.

I've got some of my own theories but they are a little complex and I don't want to type it all out, so I'll see what some other people say first .

If you don't believe in any kind of afterlife, I don't know if there can really be a meaning to life. I guess go crazy and use up everything you have and live in a way that makes you happy the most of the time. Or just die right now because you are going to anyway and you won't ever affect anything, just save yourself decades of hard work. If that's the way you think.

Hmm, I don't think we will ever know the meaning of life or what our purpose is until we die. I believe there is a spiritual realm out there with a superior being.....and when we die we will know that answer.

I guess that's where I differ somewhat from most people. I believe it IS possible to know while we are still here and alive. Whether through meditation, astral projection, or simply piecing together all of the pieces from all of the religions and beliefs of the world. Is it one of the things I mentioned earlier? Probably not. Do I think humans have the ability and innate curiosity/creativity/intelligence to find out? Yes.
It's hard work, but "The truth is out there" .

My main reason to live is to pray to God , Allah

in the Kuran is writen down that Allah created the Jin and Humans to pray to him.

Pray dont come in one forms but many. like learning, getting a living, feeding your childern.

There is one thing that i want to ask some people here, what have do you think will happen after you die? Do you think s there only going to be a pitch black of darkness forever ?

And the thing is.... once you know the meaning of life, would you devote your entire life to that specific one goal? Or would you just carry on with your normal life and assume it will play out by itself. If life has a meaning, it has obviously been playing out for thousands of years while we have been completely unaware. So learning about it shouldn't really change much if it works automatically. Unless it's some huge, terrible secret.

yes i feel tat this are still many unanswered quesions , its just tat most people now are only thinking of wat to do next and wat to do to earn a living , instead of thinking of why they are here or living to earn a living

I also agree with you Wein that people seem to devote a lot of time to "regular life" and hate to think outside the box. I would love it if more people in the world were more philosophical and willing to discuss things of a paranormal/spiritual nature like this. I find topics like this fascinating, even if I don't agree with people or some of it sounds a tad crazy .

I believe death is just another stage of life, and that we will continue on. Although sometimes I think about the pitch black idea and it scares me a lot. I am about 90% convinced through experience that there is life after death. I will leave the rest up to you, as to what that 'life after death' constitutes.

Everyone knows that life is beautiful. We live to build a future for our next generation, to evolve and never stop.

However, a distorted soul may know it wrong. Living for nothing, is not the waya normal person thinks.

There was one time a person was walking in the middel of the desert, He rested a little on the tree and continoued. The Tree represent Life and the Desert Represents After Life.

The problem with people today think about life is like just surfaical. If you know that Allah will punish you if you do wrong and grant you if you do right is good. If you ever though of making a sin is like seeing Death then your okay.

I think we have lived before and this is payback time. Thats my theory for what its worth.
Some experience love, nice homes, nice families and then someone snaps and gets out the chainsaw and does away with them.
Its perplexing. Life is extremely complicated. Others are poor and struggle and live to be old so they can suffer their entire long lives.

Me? I thank God everyday for the little i have and i am always grateful. I take each day as it comes and try not to do any harm to anyone. So far, life hasnt made me rich but its very simple. I like it.

if it happens to be like tat then why dont we just die now and to save the time living to die , its like if u can eat the food in front of u instead of walking one round and eat the food
