Orbs. Need some help.

Hi.

My friends and I decided to go trek in our neighborhood and take pictures.
Anyways we ended up doing that because my other friends had seen an apparition on the street i took the picture at. I have a couple of pictures but there was one picture with orbs, I believe. But there are very few. So I was wondering if you guys can check it out. The picture isnt amazing, it doesnt have hundreds of orbs but I think they are orbs.




Here it is.

We are planning to go there again on Friday and sleepover to see if we can take anymore pictures.

P.S. When we were around that house my camera's batteries started to go weird. It would be low, full, moderate, and none at all at some parts of the neighborhood. It was a Sony Cybershot that was using Energizer AA's. The batteries were full again after my friends and I decided to go home and take the subway.


Well I just wanted some more advice on it from people with actual experience with orbs.

The gray-ish colored orbs can be explained as dust, but like you, I've taken a picture with an oddly colored "orb" before, and was not able to figure out why it was that color. In my case, it was completely dark (the basement of an abandoned TB hospital).

Thanks, I'll take into account the next pictures of orbs we take may be caused by dust. I'll take some videos next time and see what I come up with.

Well anyways the park thats also supposedly haunted is Forest Park. The park with the statue that is headless and armless. If you live around the Forest Hills, NY area you may have heard of it. We are going to check it out on Friday.
I wanted to know if there is any validity of the park being haunted or so, because some people say its the Top 10 most haunted places in the US and also one of the 7 gates to hell.

Well after a little bit of reviewing my pictures I found a new picture which also had something weird in it. I'm not sure what it is but it could just be something made by the camera.

Here it is.



If you look carefully the orange streak is not a reflection on the windows or is there any light source to create such an image on the lens of the camera. Also the second streak towards the right of the picture is really high. I have ruled out the possibity of it being a lamp post because all the lamp posts in "the gardens" are at about "stop sign height". That area is privately owned so it is possible for them to have all the lamp posts to be the same.

Anyways I just want some comments on them so next time we take pictures like this we can take into account that it may be dust, lens flare, etc etc.

Was there a window in from of you? The orange looks like are reflection on double pane glass.

Nope there was no window in front of the camera. We were just walking around.

I don't know if the yellow is a reflection though. I can see the orange on the non window part as well. It looks like "its" lighting up the windows. But thats just my point of view.

Sorry I can't get a higher resolution one. I took the pictures in VGA. I believe its 640x480. I'll try and get higher resolution pictures next time.

Orbs can be dust to but youwere outside so lets leave dust out the question. Some People Think Orbs are Energy of a Person,past-loved ones,dead people you knw wat i mean.
First you gotta look at all the possible causes of the these for example: Was there light anywere,a smudge or dot on the camera lens,Reflection of something all the possilbe reason that would have caused these if there wasnt then you got yourself an orb.
What you should do is get a Camcorder recorde the same spots were you found the orbs. Cause on camcorders you can see the movement of orbs and you can tell the difference between dust and an orb a dust is just a dot moving around a orb makes different shapes and it moves in a certain way like its flying or dancing.
Im a believer in the paranormal thats why i know this stuff. Ask questions when your around cause if its a person he'll answer your questions by making a sound,orb, or some other entity on camcorder or cam.
Ask questions like : Is there anyone here besides me. If there is make a sound or something make it noticeable that your hear look at you camcorder to cause you can see orbs and other stuff in the camcorder. And look into the history of the place i noticed a house in one of your pic ask around the history of the place go to your library and look at the history. Here is a pic I took of an orb in my house, it was early in the morning.

Are you going to camp out at the one place in your neighborhood, or go to Forest Park?

And yes, to a skeptic, an orb is dust. To an un-trained Paranormal investigator, an orb is a spirit. A good investigator would be a person who posses both qualities. Anything could be causing these orbs, and ther eis really no hard evidence to link them to a ghost, though personally, I believe they are.

Yeah we're going to investigate it a lot more. I am sleeping over at a friends on Friday and we decided to walk around the neighborhood to see if we can get anymore pictures.

Well I found out that Forest Park has been closed to the public because so many people have been there.

I had taken a lot of other pictures so it couldn't have been a smudge because the other pictures didn't have any dots on them.

I'll have to wait 'til Friday until I can actually do anything else.

Alright I couldn't post today. Anyways we we're going to check out that house again but since it was Halloween weekend the police stopped us from taking pictures because we might be doing something bad. I got one random picture while walking to that house which just so happened to have orbs.

It isn't a lot of orbs but I just wanted to know if it is possible that the "7th Gate to Hell" is the cause of this? As I mentioned before the "7th Gate to Hell" is in Forest Park a couple blocks away.

Well I'm not sure if this website is accurate or not. It seems to not be that accurate but it seems legit.

A little Google-ing and I turned up with some information about the "Gates to Hell".

Some websites claimed that the "Gates to Hell" is literally what it means, the gates to hell. Another website claims that they are gates that allow you to travel anywhere in the universe instantaneously. I am really not sure what to think about this. I also found a website claiming that all 7 gates are in PA.

Thank you for the information, this is pretty interesting actually. Just remember to never stop looking for answers.

i dont know if that could be explained as regular dust.. looks a bit larger and almost like it is an actual silver ball...
