Myth Busters- What myth do you want to see busted?

Some of the experiments on the show the myth busters have been great.

The rocket car and the exploding cement mixer were two of my favorites.

If you had an urban or historical myth that you would want to see busted what would it be?


Have you heard of the myth about the people during the French Revolution whose eyes moved for seven seconds after they had had their heads removed?

Was it automated movement or could those poor souls still see for those last few moments. Seven seconds seems like a long time to me.

Hmm, that one would be hard to test...

How about gators in the sewer? Or the Myth that Lincoln was a republican? I mean, he supported federal over state, he had to be a democrat, that is the base of the democrat party, before gun rights, bnefore abortion, before anything else it was Stae vs Federal, with republicans supporting state and democrats supporting federal.

Here's another one.

That you can hypnotize a chook.

Could some one with a chook please do this so we can bust it already.

Gentily place the chooks head down on the ground and with a pencil or stick draw a straight line from the tip of it's beak out to about 3 inches.

The chook will be hypnotised and will remain their staring at the line.

(This one was a family myth my grandfather said they did to calm chooks down before they chopped the head off)
