Signs As the Voice of Scripture for Walking the Bible,
TMC Entertainment’s Three-Hour Primetime Miniseries
Scheduled to Air on the PBS Network During First Quarter 2006
LOS ANGELES --- Emmy Award winner Keith David (Outstanding Voice-Over Performance, Narrator, Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson
for PBS) has signed as the Voice of Scripture for Walking the Bible, TMC Entertainment’s three-hour high-definition miniseries scheduled to air
during primetime on the PBS Network in first quarter 2006, Drew Levin, TMC’s Chairman and CEO, announced today.
“A Juilliard graduate and Tony Award nominee (Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, Jelly’s Last Jam), with a voice from God and the list of credits
to prove it, Keith will bring his exceptional narration ability to the reading of important biblical passages as the Voice of Scripture for our
Walking the Bible project,” said Drew Levin.
Walking the Bible is the first in a series of Bible Journeys, the archaeological/travel/inspirational projects currently in production and
preproduction through TMC’s faith-based initiative. Under the direction of Levin and Raymond Bell, Worldwide Sales, TMC’s Religious Merchandising
and Licensing Division will market worldwide TV sales, DVD and video distribution, music CD’s, children’s games, and educational packages for
churches and temples, both domestically and internationally.
“The public has demonstrated an unquenchable thirst for meaningful religious goods and services, which we hope to satisfy through the expansion of
this exciting biblical franchise,” added Bell.
