Saddam Hussein´s trial lawyer has been found dead. An official of the Iraqi lawyers´ union said: "He was killed. It is confirmed".

A lawyer who was defending an associate of Saddam Hussein has been found dead, a day after he was kidnapped.
"He was killed. It is confirmed," Diaa al-Saadi, an official of the Iraqi lawyers' union said he had been told.
The lawyer, Sadoun Nasouaf al-Janavi, was taken from his office in eastern Baghdad on Thursday evening.
