Just a year ago we had Eminem jumping up and down on a stage full
of lunatics roaring "loose your self in the new world order etc..."

Now we have Ms Dynamite and other celebrities and even minor politicians making speeches at anti war rallies. And look at the rallies, we had over a million in UK alone, marching pre Iraq war.

Now we have "Black Eyed Peas" with their "where is the love" thing.
And this isn't just some titsy bitsy minority that always been and always will be (as some would like to believe). No, it's getting more and more specific , those with the eyes to see are fed up with suffering. They realise that the current state of affairs is rewarding for few at the expense of many, and it's time to do something about it.

The problem is we haven't started doing anything practical yet.
And our elite rulers are well aware of this enlightened population
segment that can cause trouble.
www.abovetopsecret.com...
I can tell we're going to have a lot more riots and demonstrations in the near future.

But that's not the point. The point is the awakening has begun. Hey even bin laden said to his "sleepers":
God willing, America's end is near. And it doesn't depend on my continued existence," he said. "Whether Osama is killed or not, the awakening has begun.".

Well or them or us, i dont care about time anymore, we have got no time left, we are running of time:

People all around us are covering up their eyes
Hard to find the answers believing all the lies
Wonder when we'll stop it when will all of this end
Got one last message to send
We're killing off the planet the end is drawing near
Brother fighting brother a world interned by fear
If we don't try and stop it we slowly start to die
Got this one last chance to try
If you want a future then you decide
It's crumbling all around you it happens here so many times
Must be some solutions to find a way
If we don't get some answers one day soon you can bet we're going to pay
There's got to be a way
So give us one good sign to decide whose side we're on
Cause we're running out of time
Millennium upon us and still we are denied
Fruits of public labor unevenly supplied
Prosperity is limited to just a precious few
Only one thing left to do
Ancients spent religions serve to separate the race
Into tribes that fight each other system must be replaced
Xenophobic zealots are preparing for war
What is it we're fighting for
Nation of hypocrisy discontent of lunacy
Afraid we'll never see the signs
Start the quest to find the truth
Take no more of this abuse or one day you will find you running out of time

The protest movement of the 60s was serviced primarily by folk, and psychedelia.

If the protest movement of today has to be fuelled by hip hop and rap, then some of us are going to have to develop more tolerance for these only occasionally listenable non-musical forms.

But the non-protest mass merchandising culture incorporates useless video games promulgating desert war military strategies and whiz-bang graphics.

Are there more video gamers, or people listening to protest hip hop and rap? And does either side make a dent on the massive scale of the army of dumbed down apathetic losers?

MA, i'm going to take this space to say, you're one of my favorite posters here. you're mind is open wide and perceiving beyond the narrow sights of those who have decided what the truth is, and are now fighting amongst themselves. religion has many forms, yeah?
i would love to play a video game that allows me to capture and incarcerate federal judges and politicians by following and cross referencing info chains. a game where i could stop a war by exposing the false motives behind. all while listening to some conscious rap. that would be cool.

People are waking up only because of the huge screw ups that are happening with regards to U.S. foreign policy. Especially the stupidity happening in Iraq. This is the most obvious wrong doing ever. Unfortunately, it takes something quite obvious to get people to realize it.

We sort of have Bush to thank for this. Being so dumb/gung-ho has not been to his advantage and has done more to expose what is happening than if he was smarter and more calculating.
