Ok, last night i woke up in the middle of the night and just kinda glanced at the far side of my room which is a little bit lit up by street lights. And it looked like two black "koosh" balls, about 2 feet in diameter each, one right next to the other. Thats the best way i can describe them. Its almost as if they were kinda flickering. After that i just shut my eyes because i got freaked out.

My best logical conclusion was that it was just from me waking up from REM sleep so quickly, and thats basically the "path" my eyes were going on.

Any ideas?

I read this yesterday but I had absolutely no idea so I didn't post. Since nobody else is, I better at least give you some assurance that people are reading your post
.

Sorry. I have never heard of anything that remotely resembles koosh balls. The only thing that comes remotely close is that sometime people see big black clouds hovering along the ceiling of their room in similar situations.

When you say they were like koosh balls. Do you mean that they were covered in spikes? Do you feel that the balls were alive and had a sort of prescence, or were they just objects sitting there? (Gut feeling)

We lived in a house in Alabama that had black balls - golf ball size -
fly constantly through the house. When they went through walls
the wall would make a loud 'craaaaaaaaaaack' sound. They'd zip
around, zig zag, go behind objects and pop out again. We never
figured out what they were.

They looked like they were kinda hanging on the wall... Its hard to tell if they had a presense or not. I was half asleep at the time, didn't feel threatened or anything though

Here is something i made in photoshop that looks almost exactly like what i saw (my walls are blue)

o.k., I thought I was nuts before reading this. It was several months ago now, but I woke up and glanced over to my night table, and I saw that exact thing in your picture, although it was rolling or moving around, I actually swatted at it, until I realized I could see it anymore. Then I thought, what the heck, maybe it was a spider of something. So I batted at my pillow and swiped my bed sheets and fell back to sleep. I still remember it so vividly now, and wonder if I ever will see that again. It was weird, and I wish I knew where it went, and if it still there???

its highly possible that you are seeing alien spaceships waiting to suck your brains

I read this and it reminded me of Susuwatari (Literally means "Traveling Soot") from the movie Spirited Away

Susuwatari are the "dust bunnies" or "soot sprites" featured in two animated children's movies: My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. They are small, cute, black as soot and apparently fuzzy -- although they dissolve into poweder if crushed.

I think that it just looks like some gunk in your eye. It happens to me all the time, especially during allergy season. It can stand still and look a lot like that does.

Black orbs sounds more like a paranormal thing, like ghosts/shadows/spirits.
That, or perhaps it is a "negative" (like a picture from a camera) effect from waking up so quickly, and not being able to focus completely and right away.
Do you remember what your dream was about just before you woke?

Oo thats just what i was thinking. When I read your post it reminded me of seeing part of your dream upon awakening. I've done it several times. Since vision is located in your mind and not your eyes (otherwise how would you see your dreams?
, you can see something that was in your head as part of your dream, if you woke up quickly enough maybe.

Or you got spikey invisible intruders in your room. Leave some milk and cookies out for them and see if they're hungry.

no i have no idea what my dream was... I am pretty sure it was just the "trails" left behind from my rapid eye movement. Considering that there were 2 koosh balls right next to each other...

But you never know, thought maybe someone has seen the same thing so thought i would ask

OK seriously, I have seen these Koosh things, I had 2 of them moving back and forth in front of my face cris crossing and making half loops as they went from left to right and back again. The sound can only be described as a huge fly buzzing in front of your face. After that I had some other weird occurrances that night Pretty much freaked me out

from www.ufoinfo.com...

Location. Vitebsk, Belarus
Date: February 1990
Time: 1045
A woman named Nadezhda, a teacher at a local school was in her kitchen preparing breakfast when she suddenly saw a small spherical object hovering in front of her face in the middle of the kitchen. Nadezhda was not afraid and stared at the strange globe with curiosity. The object was of a matt color but did not appear to be of a dense composition. The globe moved closer to Nadezhda and began circling around her head, apparently studying her. At this point she felt that she had to communicate mentally with the mysterious visitor. At first the contact was one-way. She heard no questions from the "alien" but somehow Nadezhda knew exactly what to tell the intelligent globe. First she greeted the globe and said she was happy to meet it on Earth in the Byelorussian city of Vitebsk. Then she mentioned that she had never any doubts on the existence of other civilizations, and she took this meeting as confirming that reality. The strange globe continued flying amid the kitchen, emitting a strange sound, very similar to a crackling sound and constantly changing in size, at one moment becoming the size of a playing ball and then growing 50cm in diameter. Soon several "tentacles" emerged from the globe, all about 10cm in length, giving the globe the appearance of a spiked mine. When the globe move around her head, Nadezhda felt something touching the back of her head, it felt like a warm tender wind blowing on her neck. She then said, "I wish I could go with you, but I have small kids". And then she asked, "Why do you come to me in such a strange appearance". Immediately she received a telepathic answer, "We appear in this manner because this is how we actually look like. And specifically visited you, because we knew you would accept us as we are". Next the alien voice told Nadezhda that they came from some constellation, the name of which started with the letter A, but unfortunately she could not remember exactly. Nadezhda then told the visitor that she was very weak in astronomy that they should visit the scientists and tell them about their place of origin. The "alien" then said, "We specifically chose you, because not all people are ready to meet us" Continuing the conversation the witness said, "If your spacecraft had crashed and you are in trouble, you can stay here to live with me, I have room for you". No answer followed and some time after that Nadezhda suddenly became fearful, she felt as if something "huge" was descending on her, she then rushed out of the kitchen and when she returned the globe had disappeared. After the encounter Nadezhda's memory and vision worsened, but it only lasted for 6months and then everything returned to normal. Nadezhda then became very lucky, usually getting all she wanted. She says that the last thing the aliens told her was that they were returning for her in 5 years.

Ok, I have seen these. It was under the same conditions as the first guy, I had woken up in the middle of the night, was still sort of in a daze and I saw these 2 koosh balls floating over me. Im pretty sure it has somthing to do with waking up like that and the way our eyes process everything, very doubtful its anything other than that.

while hanging out at this old abandoned house we used to go to, my friends (very reliable people, dont believe in supernatural, wont make things up) said they were on the second floor and this big black cloudy ball of air or gass appeared oput of no where and was hovering then moved around the room and slowly toward them. they freaked out and ran out of the house. my one friend, this big burly physics major, refused to go in the house after that. he would never go in again. possibly something similar?

The brain is very complex and people on these boards have already said that they can go into obe's etc.

I woke up one time and saw this huge black spider crawl into a gab in my wardrobe - so real i flinched and thought " wtf ". Then thats all i remember till the morning.

I also remember almost all my dreams till the morning - but i know what u mean by things seeming so real.

Maybe as we sleep / meditate we hook into other dimensions - coz im sure by the stories of obe's off this site, that we can experience things
