Those interested in the Phoenix Lights, may be interested in reading a short article that we have posted as a result of our research. The piece was written after a sighting on 9/11/05.

Didn't you just post this in the alien and UFO section of the site?

Why post it here too? It has nothing to do with secret facilities.

My first time starting a thread and I accidentally posted it here. How does one take back a thread posted in the wrong subject catagory?

I live in Phoenix, and I have a long drive in the mornings because I work 12 miles southeast of the town Maricopa (50 miles from my house) so sometimes I leave at around 5:00-5:30am. I would say on average, I see something strange that cant be explained in the skies at least once a week.

I live on the edge of the desert in Ahwatukee (south west edge of Phoenix). Where my back garden ends, the desert begins and doesn't stop until it hits a distant mountain range about 12 miles away. Crystal clear skies, zero noise pollution and I sit out there for at least 30 minutes every night and see..........nothing.

Plenty of aircraft lights, the occasional afterburner, Pluto with the sun bouncing off it, but no strange lights, nothing I can't identify.

I'm not saying they aren't out there, I just haven't seen them. I will say this though, if something was flying around over the desert, Phoenix at night would just be too huge and too bright to resist taking a little fly by, there really isn't anything much else around to look at for a long, long way (except maybe Tucson) as anyone who has ever flown here will know.

We are also just a 45 minute hop away from Area 51 at jet speeds, or 30 seconds at ET speeds

The Phoenix desert and a clear night sky is exactly 10 yards away from me as I type this (turns to look through study window) - nope I still don't see anything, but I'll keep checking.
