Just wanted to post a kinda tribute to the SR71 BlackBird. After watching a documentary on the aircraft it struck me how beatifull it is, not to mention so advanced even by todays standards, its a shame that the project lost its funding, maybe events in the future will result in its resumption.

I will be the second to make the contribute. The SR was one of the greatest achievements by man. It started the stealth and high-speed aircraft generation. Although still flying today (2-3 NASA), I have to give props to the pilots that flew these mad machines. We Solute You.
