i recall being in Oz and we were at a pub playing darts. we run out of chalk for scoring and decided to use a pen and paper instead. but none of us had a pen.

so we were like asking other patrons and bar staff for a pen and they were like, 'what do you want a 'pin' for?' we were saying, 'no a pen', and trying to make drawing/writing signs with our hands, lol.

finally one of them figured it out and said, 'oh you want a pan'! and they gave us a pen.

aAArgh! yea that'll do ... cheers mate, lol!

Funny kiwi's, can't even speak australian properly.
