Birthday of a Music Legend

I thought that the music legend that is John Lennon deserved a thread on the day that would have been his 65th birthday.

He is recognised as one of the greatest musical icons of the 20th century; and his songs, such as "Imagine" and "Strawberry Fields Forever", are often ranked among the best songs in popular music history.

He was a great man and a musical legend. I hope his memory goes on.

I love his music. The sound of it is so... amazing. Can't really describe it. You gotta listen to it to understand.

Such a shame he died when he did... you will live on in our hearts and minds, Mr. Lennon. God bless you for all you've contributed to music.
