She writes for the Yedoit Aharonot, Israel's biggest daily. She adds much incite into the subject and puts the blame squarely on the Israelis. All the peace agreements were sabotaged by the Israelis---even when Clinton thought he could reach an settlement.

It is the Israelis that don't want peace because of the argument I mentioned prior. I mean, who gains and who loses if there is a peace agreement.

The Palestineans gain a homeland, a state, if there is a peace agreement and Israel loses with a new potential enemy right next to it--closer than any other Arab state.

If ther peace agreement fails, who gains. Ths Israelis with maintenance of status quo and with the villification of Arafat.

We give israel more mone than ANY other on the planet. We give Israel more money a year than we give africa and other third world regions.

Billions of dollars in aid every year given to the the most prosperous country in the middle east? Someone justify this please. Dont give me this crap about Israel democracy/ally garbage. We dont give Europe that much money, and they are far more democratic. Israel makes enough money it can support its own damn military, and produce its own crap. No thanks. Israel provide no real benefit to justify that kind of help.

Sorry but I don't see a solution there do you? In fact, I'm on the side of the outer space Aliens. I too believe our human race is just like a herd of cows that are used for meat. I wondered why they would be considered so important of a race that God favors them and that the sign of them being at war, or circled round about, would be anything important. What a pity some posters are stupid enough to believe that a Prime Minister of Jewish descent visiting a JEWISH holy site caused this intifada after admissions from Palestinian officials that this was not the case.

The sooner you understand that there are holy sites of TWO religions on the temple mount and the Jews have as much right to go there as the Muslims the sooner you will appear less ignorant.

As for who should control Jerusalem I leave you with one bit of evidence. When Muslims controlled the city the Western Wall was covered in # and was not accessible to Jews. When Israelis control the city there is a special body of Muslims called the Waqf who make sure all is well at the dome of the rock. Of course assholes who haven't been there and don't bother to do real research don't know that.

I'm with whoever suggested a christian oversight of it in that case. Because at least perhaps a 3rd party won't allow "certain" religious sites to get covered in # and disgraced again.
