Israel's security Cabinet decides in principle to expel Yasser Arafat, but puts off taking immediate action.

Has been closer to blowing up in the last week than it ever has.
Something big may happen there soon,it is a good idea to watch.
Chances are that you won't hear about it until the resulting chaos is at your front door though.

It's no whisper. It's a cry, dude!!!
You should always watch Israel!!!
The bloody country has been in a perpetual state of war since it's creation. It's almost impossible not to watch it.

As for expelling Arafat? Well it's one thing to actually decide on principle and another to actually, physically remove him.
It is highly doubtful that Arafat will be removed in the near future. He is much more likely to be eliminated than expelled. The Israelis will give it a couple of weeks to see whether the new Palestinian PM tries to implement his part of the roadmap before making any move on Arafat. To do so now would just make him a martyr and the Israelis aren't that stupid.
This declaration just leaves the Israelis with an open ended option and sends out a warning to the Palestinian militants that even their leader isn't safe.
