Thai villagers meet alien!!!

Some of the villagers in thailand are allowed to use opium ... though I don`t think that so many peoples would do it at the same time

it is alanguage thing the word ailen is also used for "illegal imigrants", which is the corresponding meaning for the use of "alien" word in the article you posted.
