I don't know if all of these occurrences are normal or not. Most of these articles indicate that such outbreaks are rare, if not previously know in
terms of scale.

The question I have is how would we know the difference between natural viral outbreaks and those initiated by terrorist efforts?
Moreover, isn't it more likely that if you are going to try and spread a virus, you'd take the cocktail approach and see what takes?
This stuff could keep you awake at night...
