The underdog, the little guy, the downtrodden, the oppressed, the victim, that side.
I'll take Gandhi's side, that of passive resistance, to beat hate with love, which is the only thing that beats hate, I think.

I dont know about love beating hate in that senario

by the way you guys are all assuming that nwo is bad. NWO could be a large change in the system of government we use. Like a change from republic to direct democracy which is the only true one. Then if # goes downhill we'll be the ones to blame.

Personally I would prefer a republic over a direct democracy.

I guess... I dont know. I would prefer the direct democracy. I dont know much on the subject. but what I meant was what if nwo wasn't some evil takeover.

yeah thats true. Also where will nwo be primarily coming from. It seems that everywhere is a threat except antarctica which probalby means that it is one. Or a memory of our past, which in my concept of time, is happening at the same time as the future, the only time that exists, the present. So, you could be right, as incredible as it sounds. you can only be passivly resistant to a certain extent. Like for intance slavery. Noone was ever passive with that. If they were they'd die. If a war is already going on then you can pretty much throw passive out the window because to them you are the enemy no gray just black and white.

the feeling of dying for a cause is appealing, but protecting yourself and "dancing with the devil" ensures you are safe and your love ones are too. Maybe a low key role in the New World Order movenment for me

I admire those who can control the urge to fight, especially when their own life is threatened. I cannot say I would be able to. But the only way to diminish hate is to resist the urge to use violence. Sure, you may defeat your enemy, but love will have lost out, and almost certainly another foe will come along, likely looking to avenge the other ones death....

This is courage in my view:
There was a fierce warlord who ruled the countryside with ruthless violence, killing all who opposed him, and taking whatever he pleased wherever he went.
One of the villages heard he and his followers were ravaging the areas nearby and was headed for their village. The whole village grabbed what they could carry, and headed for the hills, fearing for their lives.
One monk, the most wise and elderly one, said he would stay behind in the temple. Everyone thought him crazy and that he would be killed for sure.
The warlord entered the village and soon found the sole remaining inhabitant, and was affronted by his audacity to have not fled.
He said to the monk, " Don't you know who I am. I am the man that could run you through with this sword without blinking an eye!"
The monk was not at all affected by this, and replied to him, " Don't you know who I am? I am the man that you could run through with your sword, and I would not blink an eye."
The warlord was so awed by this monk's response that he gave up his old ways and stayed as a student of the monk from then on.

That would be like someone standing in front of a M1 Tank with a 22cal. handgun. To die free is a better thing than being a slave.
But this is all just what people think might happen.

I might consider the option mentioned above, and join the NWO, then use my in to help the other side. But if any NWO folk are reading this, just kidding bud.

The problem so many people make, is there is no "Good" Side, there is no "Right" song - everything is based around your own judgement - the norms and values you have been socialised with.

What you Judge as Right, is Wrong to someone else and until people can over-come such petty thoughts than the cycle will forver continue - when it does continue once more, I am sure I'll be on their list - if not, bye to you all. I am sick and tired of "protecting" the little man, fighting for what is "right" - sick to death of it because the human race is set to destroy itself sooner or later until we can evolve passed these points.

in practice, i feel there is a difference between right and wrong. for example, harming innocents is wrong, while helping someone if needed is right. Is there no ethical difference between the works of Mother Teresa, and those of a serial killer like Ted Bundy? I say yes.

None of us know for sure, none of us are God or a God, we make the Judgement based on our own views and I've been attempting to remove those judgements from my mind when it comes to people, for work and for other reasons.
