I make something similar.
I like to sautee a red onion and several cloves of garlic while the pasta cooks. I like to use cheese-filled spinach tortellini. Once the pasta is
done I just toss in some basil, the onions and garlic, with olive oil or butter, and sprinkle with a bit of grated parmesan cheese.
It really is easy and delicious. Thinking about it, the lemon juice sounds like it'd be a nice touch.
