Why can't people just read www.godmademegay.com... and then change their minds and stop being so stupid?

Good question!

I just hate to see you beat your head against a wall (I thought I sensed frustration, maybe not). There's certainly nothing wrong with discussion. I just wanted to shed a slightly different light on the back-and-forth struggle I saw happening. Some people get it, some don't. And (if one believes in God) we're ALL God's children, even thise who hate gay people.

Carry on.

"children with gay parents will not be allowed on our school"

If that's not forcing others to deal with your flawed interpretation, then I don't know what is.
It's really not that hard.

Now aren't you putting words in my mouth. Nothing wrong refers to the school is within their legal right to have such rules and people may choose if they want to abide by them.

You are turning this (as are others) into another everyone must afford "me" the way I want it to be and you know what? No one in the world has that. No one. It's not accross the board for any point of view, it's not a perfect world.

Like I said, you may not like what the school does, but no one has to go there. I think what you really don't like is the fact that they can have restrictions based on their religion. Again, it's not a perfect world for anyone, and you will never see a world where all religions condone certain things. Would you be standing up and screaming if they kicked out a child because they found out a mother was living with a man she was not married to? You are beating a dead horse, but I guess so am I.

See ya.

So I guess it's wrong for people to hate Nazis for hating on the Jews. And it's wrong for people to hate KKK members for hating on black people...

In the above examples, one side is clearly "better". If you can't see which one it is, you are way too much of a relativist.

I also agree with you and everyone in this thread who's said it's the school's right expel this girl.

People also have the right to organize and attend Neo Nazi marches and White Power rallys, that doesn't make it right.

I see some so called "christians" on here spreading ignorance & hate towards people who are very open minded who post on here as well, why is this going on? I thought christians lived by the bible and doesn't the bible say judge not least ye be judged yourself ? isn't that word for word what it says clearly in the bible ok, and another thing I thought christians were suppose to be nice & caring & have a heart. I thought christians were suppose to never spew hatred or ignorance towards others? where are the christian morals here? where is the heart? where is the kindness? where is the acceptance? where is the understanding and having an open mind & heart? All I've seen is "christians" not doing what they supposedly live by... I think the school is farthest from the true meaning & way of a christian "church school" christian schools are suppose to be nice, caring open minded in heart & mind at least thats how one was where I lived in California a few years ago they never expelled anyone for their parents way of life or their beliefs or sexual orientation. the school mentioned in the beginning post of this thread IS farthest from what the bible states for christian beliefs and way of living. The school should be dealt with by the supreme court they are stomping on the constitution yup I'm going there oh I will keep going too despite the emails or u2us I'll probably get asking me not to steer this course but thats how I am I don't do what others ask me sometimes I do things on my own terms and this time I think I'll go political in this thread why not? ... I mean look at this thread and the posts before mine the spewage of hatred & ignorance towards others who don't live by the "christian" ways. I think that is true ignorance and exactlky the way hitler was spewing his mindwashing garbage on german youth and adults when he himself wanted only to silence those who knew he truly was jewish... and look how hitler turned out.. I think a majority of you should take another look at yourselves in the mirror and ask yourselves is this what your parents taught you to spew intolerance and ignorance. this school forgets there is something on a piece of paper called the constitution and the school indeed is stomping on it, a person has a basic right to an education and that indeed is in the constitution the school needs to be held accountable for all words, actions, threats towards the child. Thge supreme court should hear this case cause the school is 100% in the wrong and the school wants to act adult then adult consequences aught to be enforced upon them 100% by legal laws thus stated in the constitution. Schools are not allowed by law to trample on the constitution in any way. the school should have to hand over a hefty sum of money towards the childs further education in fact I think paying her entire way till she graduates college should be punishment enough and a lesson HARD lesson should be learned by the school you want to try to stomp on the constitution you learn a lesson one not forgotten and the school officials need to re-read the constitution as well the school officials need to re-read the bible cause I think somewhere the school walked off the path of christianity sometime ago.

While I think it's extremely unfair to punish a child for what their parents are, it is their school.

Its extremely hypocritical, but they have a right to do it.

But this reminds me of a Law and Order SVU episode where a girl had ended up paralyzing a boy with scissors after he picked on her for a long time because her parents were openly lesbian.

I hate Italians, Germans, Asians, Hispanics, French, Physically Handicapped, Mentally Disabled, Homosexuals, Arabs, Native Americans and Russians.....

BUT I LOVE BLACK PEOPLE!

Eghhh...guess it sounds better when you use racial slurs.

The problem is that no one expresses outrage to institutions like this.

Try to open a private school saying "We do not accept Females" on the basis of women being "Unclean".

If the Christian School wants to prevent Homosexual Parents for it's students it needs to think of a better REASON.

Something like it disturbs the children's ability to learn.

You can't just say "Lesbians rot in the fires of damnation" and call it a day.

Maybe "Lesbian's rot in the fire of damnation....and it causes a distraction in the classroom."

Unfortunately, the law permits them to discriminate since it is a private institution.

However, I always laugh when I read these kind of stories. The movies and the media try to perpetuate the myth that Christian values are somehow superior to all other systems of morality out there. Yet, almost every week I read a story about discrimination like this. It only reinforces my belief that us so-called "Godless heathens" are more tolerant and moral than any Christian institution claims to be.

This is a private school, not a public one, so they are permitted to do whatever they want.

Absolutely correct.

There is a school in my country which only teaches black children. All of the teachers are black, the caretaker is black. That seems kind of racist to me, but if that's legal then we should abide by what schools choose to do.

What is more shocking is that this school calls it self christian, i thought religions was about world peace and love towards thy neighbour, but i guess it all boils down to, small minded and deconstructive people who are believers.

If there is a god he/she loves you all, since you are all a product of him/her then, just like a mother loves her child.

Best regards

Loke...

Yes, a positive christian lifestyle as opposed to a negative christian lifestyle which consists of punishing everyone you don't agree with.

Actually, everyone wins in this case. The school gets to uphold its fake moral standing and the girl can enroll in a school were learning about certain things isn't "forbidden by god".
