Does anyone here have a way to put a vhs onto their computer. Dr. Oren Swearingen said he can send me a VHS copy of the STS 114 video. I want to get this online in high quality. The other version is too distorted. Please post if you can. I think it'll be awsome to be able to analyze a good version of this video.

Well, if you have a video card, use video input recording.

like Svideo or RCA Video in from your VCR. RCA is the white red yellow cables.

So, you put video into VCR, hook VCR output to your Video Card input, have some Video Capture software ready to record the video as it plays. (Pinnacle, Adobe Premier, MovieMaker, Win DVD Director) are all examples of software.

But your video card has to support video input. You would also need to set windows to use the video card for input.

IF you give me your computer specs, I could make a walkthrough.
