Video of Underground Nuclear explosion.

After seeing the effect on the surrounding land and considering that I am pretty sure we have far more powerful weaponry, I wondered what effect it would have if detonated along or near a fault line......

Could it easily trigger an Earthquake perhaps?

Maybe...but I kind of don't think so. Not neccesarily. I would think that a nuclear blast wouldn't move a plate so much as simply poke a hole it. Not to say that wouldn't affect things...but observe the difference between rolling a watermelon across the table and poking a hole in it with a hammer.

Besides, if you just want to induce an earthquake, there's no reason to use something so easily traceable as a nuclear device. try a google search for any combination of "earthquake induction" "scalar weaponry" "tesla earthquake generator" or anything similar.

I would suspect that if you wanted to, you could set off a string of nukes along a fault line to get it to slip. I don't know why you would want to try this though. I imagine that if you did some research, and you found a fault that was stressed enough, it would work.

why use nukes. supposedly Nicola Tesla has demonstrated some electromagnetic device back in his time, which ended up people fleeing the scene. this device created a mini local earthquake, and the he was asked by the locals not to do a similar experiment ever again. if you can amplify and direct the neccessary frequency, you can shake anything. no need for a nuke there.

and the vid is unbelievable. disturbing that these weapons are allowed to exist.
