The meaning of family

I got this in e-mail..... thought it was nice to share

the meaning of family:

FAMILY = FATHER AND MOTHER I LOVE YOU

I think a family is a group of two persons or more (one of whom is the householder) residing together and related by birth, marriage, or adoption. All such persons (including related subfamily members) are considered as members of one family. Beginning with the 1980 CPS, unrelated subfamilies (referred to in the past as secondary families) are no longer included in the count of families, nor are the members of unrelated subfamilies included in the count of family members.

Family is what you make it. Some people have fathers; other people have sperm donors. I have a gf and friends that I could consider more family then some of my so-called ?Family? . Nobody is going to tell me who is and is not a part of my family. This is not an aquired status; this is something you must achieve.

Their is no set definition of family, mine and yours are probably different but neither of us are better then the other. Whether its your mother/father or your dog, Its all family. Id best describe family as Selfless Love.

I agree with both of you in some of your statements...but what i thought it was funny coincidence is that the letters actually match the sentence...
