I thought of this recently as I have known that they find meteorites in the arctic in a similar fashion.
What they do is fly over the white tundra and look for black spots, since any item on top of the ground would have to come recently, from the sky that
is.
I was wondering if meteorites could be found by looking at sattelite images? Do you think they would show up on them or would it not be fine
enough?
I know I have never seen detailed enough sattelite images of the area myself, but it was just an idea I had.
