Half-Life2....The best FPS so far?

I think so, especially compared to Halo 2(which I hated) So ummmm....GO HALF LIFE

I was dissapointed with the story, and some of the level design (wich I think could have made better use of the physics, along with better use of AI). But Half-Life 2 is just so damn prettty. It's not IMO the best so far, I think that title still belongs to Half-Life, but it's still a kick-ass game and alot of fun.

Never played Halo 2.

I'm looking forward to the up-coming FPS's. FEAR, Half-Life 2: Aftermath, Call of Duty 2, Unreal Tournament 2007, Quake IV, Prey and Serious Sam 2 all come to mind

yea,all those games will probably be awesome, but I think UT will be victorious,although the last was a let down
